Mathematics

Math and Sex

Apparently you can use mathematics to find patterns in just about anything, including relationships. I often wonder if I am a mathematician and I don't even know it. I often intuitively find patterns in items of entertainment... movies, television shows, books, computer games... I get bored very easily if one of those items fits the patterns I recognize. I haven't diagrammed it out but I can grasp it intuitively. I wonder when the culture will shift-- when a new algorithm will come around to replace the old ones and the things that keep us distracted in the world are replaced by something new and more complex...

You can only see four things...

"There have been some arguments that limits on visual memory are related to limits on the number of items we can attend to at once as well as to limits on the number of items we can count at a glance (typically both have capacity estimates of around three to four)," added Dr Simons.
